A Decade of Dedication Annemarie's journey with the club began ten years ago when her son started playing. Despite initially knowing little about football, she quickly became involved, serving as the lead welfare and safeguarding officer.

Last season presented significant difficulties for many grassroots clubs, including Barry Athletic, with increased demands on volunteers and incidents of abuse. Annemarie herself faced discouraging remarks, but with support, she persevered.
