GlideX Engine Oil

So I recently tried out a new engine oil brand called Glidex in my Corolla 1.3 (2019), and I thought I’d share my experience in case anyone else is considering it.

Honestly, I hadn’t heard much about it before — just stumbled across their website and decided to give it a shot since the specs looked decent and the price was reasonable compared to the usual brands like Shell or Total.

I used their GlideX Extreme 10W-40, and after about 1000 km, I’ve noticed the engine feels a bit quieter and slightly more responsive. Cold starts are smooth too, especially with the mornings still being a bit chilly. I can’t comment on long-term performance yet, but so far so good. Also, the packaging and labeling looked professional — not the shady kind you sometimes see with newer brands.

I’d love to hear if anyone else has used Glidex — especially their diesel oils or gear oils. Thinking of trying them in my Hilux next oil change.
